In Mysterious Ways

I S A I A H 55: 8-9
FOR MY THOUGHTS ARE NOT YOUR THOUGHTS, NOR ARE YOUR
WAYS MY WAYS,” DECLARES THE LORD. FOR AS THE HEAVENS
ARE HIGHER THAN THE EARTH, SO ARE MY WAYS HIGHER THAN
YOUR WAYS, AND MY THOUGHTS THAN YOUR THOUGHTS.

Do not ask, how it will be, or how it will happen, just believe
that He is faithful to His promises.
Many times I would as the Lord to fulfill certain things in my
life in prayer, instead up faithfully trusting in Him, I pondered
how He would make these things come to pass. I had my
own timeline of when you would complete it, and my own
ideas on how He could accomplish my prayer requests. The
more I wondered how I could do it, the more I was
disappointed in how God proceeded in completing His plan. I
didn’t always like how these things came to pass. I wanted
God to do things my way, because I thought I knew best. I
needed to humble myself, and trust that He knows better.
He knows exactly when to answer my prayer, and how.
If we truly depend on God, let us show it. If we truly trust in
Him, let us stop doubting as I did, and let our God work. If
we say, “let your will be done” then let us truly follow in
submission to those words. He knows better, and His plan is
better than we could ever imagine it to be. Our God works in
mysterious ways, but in the end, His will is perfect.
