A Masterpiece

“FOR WE ARE GOD’S MASTERPIECE. HE HAS CREATED
ANEW IN CHRIST JESUS, SO WE CAN DO ALL THINGS HE
PLANNED FOR US LONG AGO.”

EPHESIANS 2:10

You were destined for a purpose. A will that is so goof
for you. Jesus came and died for each and every one
of us. He did everything for us, sacrificed even Himself
for our greater good, to be redeemed and live free.
The gifts you have, the talents that you were given,
what are you doing with them? Do you praise yourself
for how good you sing, preach, pray, or worship; or
does all of that go to Jesus, glorifying His mighty
name? I had a moment in my life when all I did was
“I”, I did this, I accomplished that, and it was never
“Jesus did this!”
Once I’ve realized that I can’t do anything outside of
the grace of God, my perspective had changed. The
way I lived was turned around. The Holy Spirit opened
my eyes to the things I was blinded by. There was so
much freedom when all I gave my praise to Jesus and
not myself. There was no more a mentality of pleasing
people. Jesus was all that mattered. Whatever gift or
talent you have, don’t waste it on the world, but use it
for the glory of Jesus Christ.
