Attention

“BEHOLD, I STAND AT THE DOOR AND KNOCK. IF ANYONE
HEARS MY VOICE AND OPENS THE DOOR, I WILL COME IN TO
HIM AND EAT WITH HIM, AND HE WITH ME.”
REVELATION 3:20

We don’t have to fight for the attention of Jesus; He is
fighting for our attention. Most days sin will catch our
attention and there won’t be room for Jesus to enter.
There is always a battle for your soul, and it’s your
choice what you choose. You have the authority to
throw things away from your life, putting your focus on
the One who died for you. He deserves your attention
so much more, and it’s always back to you because
He has given us freewill, nothing will be done out of
force; that’s not how our God works. He will pour out
His love until you taste His goodness. Maybe today
something else has caught your attention and you
have been so busy that you forgot that there is a
knock at your door. Just a small “I surrender” to you
is a victory in heaven. Give Jesus your all and He will
give you more than your mind could comprehend.
When you encounter God, you will not want to seek
attention from anything else because you know who
you are; you are a son and daughter of the Most High
God.
