1 C O R I N T H I A N S 13 : 7 – 8

“BEARS ALL THINGS, BELIEVES ALL THINGS, HOPES ALL THINGS, ENDURES ALL THINGS. LOVE NEVER FAILS;…”

There is one thing that can get through anything, that couldn’t separate us from God. When sin reigned and was pulling us apart from our heavenly Father when His wrath was burning desiring judgment and we were destined to death and fire, one thing remained; love. Not just the love of a man or the love of a mother to her child, but God’s eternal, and burning love. It was able to bear all things, the sin that was taking us captive and separating us from God’s righteousness and holiness. Love bore the world’s unrighteousness and sin and was crucified in Calvary.

It took the punishment and endured the judgment we were meant to receive; it found a way when death was our only option.

When we fail and give up, Jesus continues to hope and believe in our future. He made a way out of captivity and made free those under subjection. He sees our potential when we see a failed effort and no reason to press on.

He is the definition of Love; He is the manifestation of bearing all things and believing all things. He is the appearance of hope and endured through it all, He is never failing.

Through all the agony He experienced for us He is made an example that it is not finished, by rising on the third day.

So let us follow the footsteps of perfect love, by bearing all things believing all things, hoping in doubt, and enduring through impossible times.
