I S A I A H   5 5 : 1 – 2

“COME, ALL YOU WHO ARE THIRSTY, COME TO THE WATERS; AND YOU WHO HAVE NO MONEY, COME, BUY AND EAT! COME, BUY WINE AND MILK WITHOUT MONEY AND WITHOUT COST. WHY SPEND MONEY ON WHAT IS NOT BREAD, AND YOUR LABOR ON WHAT DOES NOT SATISFY? LISTEN, LISTEN TO ME, AND EAT WHAT IS GOOD, AND YOU WILL DELIGHT IN THE RICHEST OF FARE.”

When you have good news; whom do you share your joy with?

When you have a troubled heart and you are overbearing with weariness and sorrow; who is your comfort?

When you have some gossip you run to your friends to share the news; when you’re struggling with something you confer with your parents; when you seek comfort, you run into the arms of your significant other; when you have a secret to keep, you spill to your siblings.

But your friends cannot always be trusted, nor will always share your joy, sometimes your parents are hard to communicate with, your mate is struggling with their own problems and looking for solace, and your siblings to busy to be bothered with.

When you seek that need to be in fellowship, who’s your best option? To whom can you disclose your heart? We’re constantly seeking counsel as people, were in need of communication, conversation and compassion.

In these situations and I plead that you come to God. Because He’s a selfless lover, He’s a bountiful giver. He’ll provide you with the comfort you desire, He will listen without interrupting, and better yet He will pour wisdom out on your soul when it’s in need and share your joys when you are jubilant.

He’s the perfect confidant, the best friend you could ever have. Because He won’t betray you or leave you hanging or ghost you,

So before you run to anyone else’s arms, first confer with Christ. Spill to Him and you will receive, cry and the tears will be wiped away.

He will be right there, providing to every need.
