“Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus said unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.” -Matthew 19:21-22

According to the words of Jesus we are suppose to forgive people who hurt us, seventy times seven. There was a time in my life when I couldn’t forgive a small group of people who had hurt me. The longer I refused to forgive, the worse my life got, until I hit rock bottom. After Finding freedom in Christ, I started praying and asked God to help me put down my pride and hurt so that I could forgive. As soon as I forgave, a heavy burden fell off my shoulders, I was free. A word of encouragement to those who can’t or won’t forgive, If you want freedom, forgive! why? Because Jesus Christ has told us to, this is to benefit us, and make our lives easier to live.
