Do you ever see yourself put the work of God to a measure? I know I have. I always wondered why I put a measure to what my Father can do. I realized, the reason I always put a limit to what He can do, what He is possible of, was because I was failed by mankind. People failed to exceed my expectations, they seem to always be disappointing and not coming through. Everything I was promised by people came to an end with my heart being shattered along with it. So many times in my life I have been failed and each time my hope grows dimmer and my life became more miserable. That was also a choice that I made, to feel disappointed in everyone around me. The reason I couldn’t see God doing anything in my life was because of all my past experiences, until now. Now I have learned to lean on Him through my failures and disappointments. For the Bible says that man will fail but my God will never. Make a choice to trust in Him. God has no limit on how much He can give. I encourage everyone, that though people may fail and discourage you in your life, but just remember that if God is on your side, who can stand against you. Keep your eyes upon a God you can trust and lean upon, a God that will not fail you. He will pour out His Spirit and there will not be a measure or limit to what He can do with you, for He has destined us to do great things in His name for His glory.
