“GO, FOR HE IS A CHOSEN INSTRUMENT OF MINE, TO
BEAR MY NAME BEFORE THE GENTILES AND KINGS AND
SONS OF ISRAEL.”

ACTS 9:15

Here In this passage of acts, Ananias, who is a man of God,
get a vision from the Lord telling him to meet Paul. Paul is a
man who persecuted Christians and sent them to prison.
This man replies to the Lord listing all the bad things Paul
has done and how he harmed the Lord’s saints in Jerusalem.
But God has a different plan. The first word He says is, “Go”;
and the same thing He says to all of us redeemed in Christ
now, “Go”. Do not let your past stop you, because when God
looks at you He does not see your sin any longer, He does
not condemn you because He sees His perfect and
blameless Son Jesus and His blood is over you. In my life, for
to long I let the devil put me down and convict me of my
past. I thought I was never able to speak or to pray for
others because of what I used to do. But God doesn’t look
at our past; He looks at our future and potential. From the
very moment He created you, He had a plan in mind for you
and that was to serve Him and bring others to Christ. God
wants us to go out in His name and bring people to Christ.
That same gospel that brought you to your knees crying out
for forgiveness, many people are in need of today. So don’t
let your past stop you, but let God’s great mercy and love,
lead you.
