Patience

ROMANS 12:12
“REJOICE IN OUR CONFIDENT HOPE. BE PATIENT
IN TROUBLE, AND KEEP ON PRAYING.”

There was a time in my life when I really struggled
with patience. I think we all go through this at one
point or another, and it can eat away at your
happiness very easily. I would get impatient over
little things like people who were walking very
slowly. I would also get impatient with myself if I
didn’t know the answers to my homework or if I
kept on forgetting to do something I needed to. I
would tell my mom about these things and she told
me to just pray for God to give me patience. So
that’s what I did. Everyday I felt convicted because
I would still feel impatient with others and myself.
But, one day I felt myself letting go and letting God.
My problem was not just about patience; it was
about putting my burdens on the Lord. I would
keep everything to myself. The Lord will take any of
our struggles and just make them fully disappear, if
you have patience and faith that He will do so.
