Have you ever wondered why you sometimes feel so lonely? Depressed, rejected, worried?
You may say, “Well… because I’m single.” And so, you try to mingle.
Still no success. You feel alone.
May I propose an ancient, Biblical truth that will make you know you’re loved and cherished?
I’ll try to put it in plain English.
Find a well.
In the Bible, we find people finding both their spouses and their Savior by wells of water.
Moses found his wife, BY THE WELL.
Jacob met his wife, BY THE WELL.
The Samaritan woman found her Savior, BY THE WELL.
Just as the water in a well gives you temporal life, Christ preached in our Church gives you eternal life.
So, what’s your problem?
You’re looking in the wrong place.
Find a well.
Your well is the Church.
Need a spouse? Come to church. (We have plenty of handsome lads and damsels.) Need salvation? Come to church.
Find Jesus and you will find EVERYTHING you ever needed.
Need a Bible verse to confirm everything that I just said? The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost. (Revelation 22:17)
