Be Real

“BUT GOD DEMONSTRATES HIS OWN LOVE FOR
US IN THIS: WHILE WE WERE STILL SINNERS,
CHRIST DIED FOR US.” ROMANS 5:8

Be real with Christ. He’s the one who saved you.
Out of a crowd of people He chose you. So why do
we try and hide our problems before Him, why do
we pretend that everything is good in our lives
when really we are struggling? He’s the one who
can help us, who can lift up our burdens and give
us the strength to overcome. Yet we run backwards
from Him, and we put on a front when we’re before
His face. He saved us while we were still in our
trespasses, while we were drowning in sin and
struggling. He chose you when you were at your
worst; so don’t hide your face any longer. Come to
Christ, come to the secret place before His face,
and let go. Tell Him all that’s on your heart and
everything that is bothering you. Tell Him when you
feel weak and unable to go on, when you feel like
you can’t overcome. He’s not going to hurt you, or
forsake you; Yet He will uphold you with His right
hand and lift you up. Be real with Christ.
