Enough

“…YOUR MAIDSERVANT HAS NOTHING
IN THE HOUSE BUT A JAR OF OIL.”
2 KINGS 4:2

Many times we say we have nothing, just like this
woman. We say, we have no faith, we have no more
hope, or we have no more strength. But just like this
woman, even though she said she had nothing, she
had yet a jar of oil, and that jar of oil, worked a great
miracle in her life. God can use what little you have and
do something huge with it. Your small amount of faith
can get you to great places. So many stories from the
Bible prove so, that you don’t need to be a great man
of stature for God to use you; He used the least and
worked amazing things through their lives. You do not
need to be rich in wealth and resources for God to pour
out His hand upon you, He called the poor, broken and
the needy. We who had nothing, were worth nothing,
received a treasure greater than any other; the gift of
redemption and salvation. As Jesus says, with faith as
little as a grain of a mustard seed, you can move a
mountain. If you feel like your faith is burning out, that
it’s not enough, take that last remaining coal that is
barely burning, bring it to Jesus, and He can make it
into a raging fire incapable of being tamed.
